About the event
Join Gallery 40 for a field trip and tour of Magazzino Italiano Art. We will meet at the gallery at 10:30am and car pool to Magazzino Italiano Art. Magazzino's campus is composed of two buildings and our grounds. The original, 20,000-square-foot building from 2017 houses the permanent collection focused on the Arte Povera movement and the Germano Celant Research Center. The Robert Olnick Pavilion includes an additional 13,000 square feet of exhibition space dedicated to temporary exhibitions, a gallery devoted to Italian decorative arts and design, a multipurpose room, and a combined café and store on the mezzanine. The grounds span 5 acres and are also home to our Sardinian donkeys. W are planning lunch at Pizza Vitale which will be onsite at the museum on July 13 from noon to 2pm.
Museum entry tickets will be purchased onsite: Adult: $20 Senior: $10
