Each artist is always looking to discover new things, new mediums, new inspirations and experimenting is part of each artist's life. As we develop our work, we always have some work that we think is special, sometimes because it is an achievement in a new technique, sometimes simply because we feel a special connection. In this "Best in Show" juried exhibition, Gallery 40 is celebrating these works that have a special place in each artist's heart.

Juror of Selection: Christine Irvin Ranhosky
Christine Irvin Ranhosky is the current President of the Stamford Art Association. Its Townhouse Gallery graces Franklin Street in an historic brownstone with an extraordinary trompe l’oeil painting on the building. Christine is a distinguished photographer and printmaker whose work has been exhibited in numerous galleries across the region, including at the Lincoln Center Art Gallery in NYC and the Connecticut Graphic Arts Center. In addition, she is a successful businesswoman and consultant.
